Stumbled across this place while passing by other crowded breakfast spots. Location in small but it's a total welcome to someone's house feel. Service was amazing! The green sauce soo delicious.. got the green chilaquiles with egg! Amazing and will definitely come back!

Just happened to stumble upon this place on our hunt to feed our inner beast.... loved the cafe de Olla and what i considered to be Chile verde but is called more accurately carne de puerco en salsa verde.... it was breakfast so added two eggs and let me tell ya!!!! Yummm yummm to my tummm....
big shout out to these folks! I will be back... had to do a review to remind myself of how good this spot is! -

Ordered food for delivery, after 2 1/2 hours waiting and following up several times, finally gave up and ordered through a different restaurant. Unbelievable that a business with this practice hasn't gone under yet. If you can't deliver food, maybe don't offer delivery. -

I just ordered food from here earlier today through Eat24 delivery. The wait was an hour and a half but no big deal. I don't mind the wait but the food is really shitty.
The carne de puerco en salsa Verde tasted weird in the green salsa it came with. Adding some other red salsa they gave us helped a lot. The rice was really mushy, pretty close to porridge. The beans were really really bland, some salt helped. The burrito was an average 5 out of 10. As for the pupusas, it's not bad but I had an amazing pupusa from an actual Salvadoran restaurant before and this comes no where close. What upset me the most was the fries: the portion was small, it looked like they were fried at least 2 times or they used reused oil. Gross. -

I have been to this charming small Mexican Restaurant on Daly Street a few times. What makes this place so nice are the owners. You can tell they are good people and are so friendly. The restaurant, although small, has a family feeling and is very clean. The temperature inside is perfect. It's a happy place! I highly recommend stopping by and getting a great meal. I was talking to owner and he was showing me all the gifts it's patrons bring back to this place from their world travels to adorn it's Lincoln Heights walls. Obviously many people feel so connected to this restaurant and it's owners. Lincoln Heights has a real gem here!
